About Celuk Bungalows

Celuk Bungalows has five individual Balinese style bungalows, two of one bedroom garden View and three with pool view. We describe Celuk Bungalows as a memorably place to stay that caters for the traveller who wants to get away from it all and stay in 'local' high quality accommodation with the comforts of home. For those quiet times you can relax in the gardens under the shade of the frangipani trees and get your skin tanned under the sun after swimming in our pools.

The Bungalows

Tastefully furnished these bungalows are ideal for a romantic holiday or a 'get-together' with the family. There is a traditional 'Bale Bengong' where guests can enjoy the views or just sit back and relax. Each bedroom has an en-suite (open-air) bathroom.

The bedrooms are furnished with quality and imagination a perfect blend of Balinese art. Resting in your beautiful room which completed with modern facilities with full of air conditioning, TV and a mini fridge.

Swimming Pool

The 8m x 12m lap salt watered swimming pool with outside shower make it's perfect place to stay away from other tourist area.

The 'open air' style bathrooms have hot water showers, with w.c. and vanity units set in an indoor garden. All the bungalows have individually controlled air-conditioning.

Services

For early risers a complimentary tray of tea and coffee is served on your deck each morning. All drinks from the in-room bar fridge are charged at restaurant prices. Laundry service is available for a nominal charge, same day weather permitting.

A small stock of toiletries, film and batteries are available for purchase should you run out of anything. Or, in case of emergency our staff are always willing to try to get whatever it is you might need from the nearest town.

THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA

Most of the major attractions on the Island are accessible on a day trip, but more often than not we find that once visitors arrive in Celuk Cottage they don't want to leave it's peace and tranquillity.

Mystic Hindu temples abound, from large and ornate, to the simpler village style and they can be visited at any time. Although it is best to make the most of it and go when there are ceremonies going on.

The Balinese are a very friendly and love to invite foreigners along to their special occasions.

The 'Mas' village is the central of stone carvings & the Bali Bird park” destination is a10 minutes drive from the cottage. Visitors can see the unique lifestyle of the villagers who now make their living from producing and selling magnificent wood & stone carvings & silver / gold smith in this area.

The Bali Bird Park is near Ubud and is a 40 min trip by taxi, from the kuta area.

The park has a great range of birds housed in immaculate cages and set in beautiful surroundings. There is a great restaurant & gift shop that are well worth a visit while you are there.

Self drive cars and motorbikes are readily available for hire in Bali or if you prefer the stress free way, we can arrange for you to have a reliable car and driver at very competitive rates.
